InspiringBusiness2018 is our way of promoting great business in the Yorkshire & Humber region.
If you’re driven and creative in your field, be inspired with £20,000 worth of support!
Our first business-focussed campaign, in 2017, saw two stand-out local companies sharing £45,000 worth of vital support to help them grow to the next level.
And we’re now building on that success with a fresh campaign, aimed at helping and encouraging the region’s entrepreneurs.
This year, working with great partners in complementary fields like banking, business support, finance and marketing, we’ll be offering a focussed and powerful mixture of assistance to one ‘creative and driven’ business, worth over £20,000.
What are we looking for?
The kinds of businesses we’re looking to help are those that have gained some traction already, perhaps with a successful track record or on the cusp of great things. If you’re driven, creative and hungry for more, then yours is the type of organisation that should be entering.
From sole traders to firms employing dozens or hundreds of people, we want to find and help companies that excel in what they do, and can demonstrate qualities such as drive, innovation, vision and creativity.
If that’s you or your business, don’t hesitate to submit your entry here.
How do I enter?
If you own or work for a business that you believe fits the bill, tell us, in no more than 1,000 words, what makes your organisation special and how you would aspire to move forward. You can submit your entry here by no later than 30 October, by email to email@example.com or by post to InspiringBusiness2018 c/o MD Nick Miller, James Legal Solicitors, Planet House, 2 Woodhouse Street, Hedon Road, Hull, HU9 1RJ.
All the entries will be considered and the winning entry will be chosen by a panel of judges including James Legal MD Nick Miller and renowned local businesswoman Maureen Foers OBE.

You can hear from those who have done it, those who are doing it and those who help them do it.
