Across both of our offices, we recently decided to upgrade our printers to the new Sharp BP range from SoluTech, which boasts a range of eco-friendly features that helps with our commitment to more sustainable offices.
By investing in these printers, we can reduce our carbon footprint and make our business more environmentally friendly.
One of the key features of these printers is their LED technology, which consumes less energy than traditional fluorescent lamps, resulting in reduced power consumption and CO2 emissions. Additionally, we were also impressed by the materials used to construct these printers. The BP printers are made from recycled plastics, making them a more sustainable choice whilst also maintaining a stylish design, perfect for the modern office. Moreover, the toner cartridges are made from plant-based materials, which are biodegradable and therefore environmentally friendly. Finally, the printers come equipped with energy-saving features, such as an Eco mode that reduces power consumption automatically when the printers are not in use. By reducing power consumption, we can minimise our electricity usage by up to 20% and reduce our energy bills.
Furthermore, we are extremely happy to be working alongside SoluTech, a local business in Cottingham who provided us with the printers.
