What makes me tick?
Enjoy having close family relationships and good work/life balance. Planning trips away, either abroad or locally with family and friends. You don’t have to venture far in Yorkshire to have some fabulous places to visit.
My experience
Have always worked in a Reception / Office environment since leaving school (many years ago). I have supervised many Office Juniors / Assistants over the years, and it has been so nice and rewarding to see them progress and see how they have all gone on to be very successful, lots of them still, keep in touch. I have always enjoyed meeting and greeting Clients everywhere I have worked and enjoy an office environment.
Outside of work
I enjoy taking part in Craft Fairs in all the local Villages – we are Sticks ‘N’ Stones and create items made from wood and decorated stone etc. Ran the local Preschool Group when the boys were growing up and was a Governor at the Junior School in the village. I love visiting my sons who live out of the Hull area now – One in Lincoln & one in Worcester, again lovely places to visit. I have a lovely group of friends, we all brought our children up together and we try to meet up several times a year, whether it just for a walk, lunch or weekend away. I Enjoy attending twice weekly Zumba Classes.
What I do?
- General reception work
- Meeting and greeting clients
- Answering the phone
- Transferring calls or taking message for fee earners
- Dealing with incoming and outgoing post
- Taking card payments
- Ensuring the office looks presentable
