What makes me tick?
What really motivates me is helping people through what can often be one of the most stressful periods of their lives. Whether someone is buying their first home, moving house, or dealing with a property transaction, I enjoy being able to support them and make the process as smooth as possible.
One of the main reasons I was drawn to a career in law was the opportunity to make a positive difference to people when they need guidance and reassurance. The legal profession can sometimes seem intimidating, and many people feel uncertain about seeking legal advice. I am passionate about showing clients that our lawyers at James Legal are approachable, supportive, and here to help.
Building strong relationships with clients is one of the most rewarding parts of my role. I take pride in being friendly, approachable, and always willing to go the extra mile to help clients feel informed and supported throughout every stage of their journey.
My experience
My journey into law began in 2020 when I studied Law at A Level at my local sixth form. It was there that I discovered my passion for the legal profession and decided to pursue it as a career. After achieving an A* in Law, I went on to study Law at the University of York, graduating in 2025 with a 2:1 degree.
During my studies, I gained valuable practical experience through a number of voluntary roles, including serving as a Trainee Volunteer Adviser at Citizens Advice and as a Student Adviser at the Baroness Hale Legal Clinic. These opportunities enabled me to develop my communication skills and gain first-hand experience of supporting people through a variety of legal issues.
Following graduation, I joined a local law firm as a Legal Assistant, carrying out a range of administrative and client-focused responsibilities. I quickly progressed to the role of Conveyancing Assistant, where I developed my knowledge of the conveyancing process and supported clients through their property transactions.
I am excited to continue developing my career with James Legal and look forward to supporting clients through every stage of their property journey.
