What makes me tick?
The simple answer is loving what I do every day. For me that’s easy I love working with tech and learning everything about it. I love making life easier using tech & software both at work and in my personal life.
My experience
My love for tech started at a young age when I got my first computer and started to learn how they worked. I built my first PC when I was young and have continued this to this date. I believe knowing how the tech I use daily works from the ground up has made me what I am today. I went on to get a First-Class Honours Degree from the University of Hull in Web Design and Development. This led me into nearly a decade of web development roles, agencies, startups and my own business. In the later years I moved into lead roles and took on a Project Manager role which led me into becoming the GM of a Cyber Security business. All of this experience has led me to James Legal and the new challenges of working in the legal sector.
Outside of work
I have 3 young children (all boys) and an amazing wife. When I am not spending time with my family I am running an e-commerce business, project managing startups, learning more tech and improving my skillset. I play Airsoft (its like paintball but better) which is what prompted the e-commerce business. I love gaming, listening to epic fantasy books and when I have time I try to write my own.
