What makes me tick?
For me, law is all about people. Private Client work allows me to build real, meaningful relationships with individuals and families, supporting them through key and often difficult life moments. Whether someone is planning ahead to protect their family's future or navigating the loss of a loved one, I understand that at times is can feel overwhelming for them. My aim is always to be approachable and reassuring - delivering clear, practical advice without the legal jargon, so that my clients feel confident and supported every step of the way.
My experience
I began my journey into the legal world working for a reginal firm assisting in most aspects of law. It was here that I developed a strong foundation in handling client matters with care and attention to detail. Over time my passion shifted toward Private Client law, where I could focus directly on helping individuals structure their affairs. From there I moved to a smaller East Yorkshire based firm to continue to hone my expertise in all aspects of Private Client work as well as begin my training contract. I joined James Legal to complete my training contract and to continue to deliver tailored, personable service to my clients and I am always looking to expand my specialist knowledge.
Outside of work
Whilst I am not in the office, I have a multitude of different hobbies which require a page of their own to list as there are far too many! I particularly enjoy spending time with my family and our dog, exploring as many walking trails as possible. I love travelling about and want to visit as many places in the world as I possibly can. I play various sports (all of them badly!), most recently getting into Padel.
